The first year as a newly licensed nurse is both thrilling and challenging. The goal of the KRH Nurse Residency Program is to equip new nurses with essential skills based on a foundation of training, preceptorship and support during their first year. Residents serve in a variety of hospital units including: Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Intermediate Care, Critical Care, Emergency Services, Behavioral/Psychiatric Health, Observation, and Transitional Care. Other specialties are considered based upon staffing need.
Kalispell Regional Medical Center accepts applications from graduates of an accredited nursing school (or an accredited refresher course if returning RN) which includes 250 clinical hours, within in the last 12 months.
